Michael K.
Smith, Ph.D.
Michael K. Smith received a Ph.D. in Psychology from the
University of Tennessee-Knoxville in 1984. He is a national
expert on standardized testing. He founded Testprep Experts in
1984 to help students prepare for college admissions tests, such as
the PSAT, SAT, and ACT, and graduate school admissions tests, such
as the GRE, GMAT, and LSAT. He is the author of several video
training courses for these tests including The ACT Video
Course, The SAT Video Course, and The PSAT Video
Course. These courses are used by hundreds of high schools
throughout the nation.
Shannon
Noble, J.D., M.A.
A native of Illinois, Shannon Noble graduated from Northern
Illinois University with a B.A. in History in 1999. She
continued her education at Rutgers University - School of Law where
she graduated with a J.D. in 2002. After two years in a
corporate environment, she returned to school and graduated from the
University of Tennessee in May 2006 with a Masters of Science in
Information Science. She has worked with Testprep Experts
since January 2005.
Jay
Hollingsworth,B.A.
Jay Hollingsworth was
Valedictorian of Carter High School. He earned a National Merit
Scholarship and a UNC Johnston Scholarship to UNC-Chapel Hill where
he graduated with a B. A. in Biology in 2005.

Ann Simoneau, B. A.
Ann Simoneau
recently moved to Knoxville after living
overseas for six years. She earned her B.A.
in Mathematics in 2007 from WGU, and will
soon be working toward her Masters. She is
certified to teach fifth grade through
eighth grade. She also teaches 8th grade
Mathematics at Whittle Spring Middle School.
Vitaly Voinov, B.A.
Vitaly
Voinov was a National Merit Semifinalist at
New York’s prestigious Stuyvesant High
School and an Echols Scholar at the
University of Virginia. After earning his
bachelor’s degree in three years with a
double major in classics and linguistics, he
did graduate work in biblical studies and
linguistics at Dallas Theological Seminary.
For the past ten years, Vitaly has been
involved in Bible translation work in the
former Soviet Union. He is currently
preparing to enter a doctoral program in
linguistics.
Elizabeth Toth, M. A.
Elizabeth Toth has
earned a Master's Degree in Curriculum and
Instruction from The University of
Tennessee. She is certified to teach
Kindergarten through eighth grades. She
earned teacher of the year for K-4 grades
in the 2004-2005 school year. During a
summer course, she received extensive
training at the Teacher's College in New
York. She has worked for 7 years as a staff
developer to educators in the K-5th
grades. She now works at a Regional
Professional Development Center as a
teacher, staff developer and researcher with
selective universities.
